Founded in June 2002, Shanghai Decorators Decoration Association (SDDA) is a cross-sector, trans-ownership and non-profit industry organization as legal person organized voluntarily by building decoration, building curtain wall, house decoration, decoration material and decoration design enterprises and institutions in Shanghai.

  Currently, SDDA has 1922 members, including 240 building decoration enterprises, 73 building curtain wall enterprises, 1291 house decoration enterprises, 60 decoration material enterprises and 258 decoration design enterprises.

  The mission of SDDA is to protect the legal rights and interests of the members, involve itself in the formulation of industry planning, regulate decoration market, ensure fair play, increase the comprehensive quality of the industry and enterprises, provide services for the development of the members, and act as a bridge between the enterprise and government/society.

  SDDA publishes newspapers and periodicals such as Shanghai Decoration journal and Shanghai Home Decoration, Decoration Weekly of City Culture Newspaper, maintains its website www.5i5j.com, produces special programs jointly with radio stations and TV stations on a weekly basis, and establishes industry development research center and industry training base (school), holds two public home decoration consulting activities every month, conducts standard service program, and organizes the enterprises to attend decoration contest. The special committees of SDDA have developed industry self-discipline pacts respectively.
